Printing in Mainz

So all these pictures are from Mainz. Which is a city we visited a couple weeks ago. Yeeeahhhh... I'm a bit late in uploading the pictures, but AFCOE-Europe is intense and i've been super busy. I know that's not a great excuse, but it is when your physical life takes precedence over your digital life. So anyways, sorry for being so late in uploading stuff to my blog, but I hope you enjoy these pictures.
Mainz was the city in which Gutenburg invented the Printing press. We went to a museum about Gutenburg and the history of printing, but we weren't allowed to take pictures, so these pictures are just of the beautiful city! Enjoy!

This was the front of some church. (Yeah I know descriptive right?)

This is just a cool picture of an outdoor market.

I don't know what it is with Catholic saints having swords through Bibles. (At least I think it's a Bible) This is the second time i've seen something like this.

This is the guy who had the sword through the Bible.

Mainz was really a beautiful city!

This is the main church, I can't tell you a lot else about it. Just enjoy it's beauty.

This is the City Hall I believe. In Germany they would call it the Rathaus.

The flowers were blooming so beautifully while we were there!

Soo many pagan symbols here on churches and such.

These guys were actually pretty good!

German Dogs are so smart! They even walk themselves!

I just thought these rubber duckies were pretty cool! Those are rootbeer floats that they are drinking. (And you were thinking it was something else!) =D

Some cool building.

  1. Could that video at the end be any shorter? It was a bit too drawn out... :D

  2. Greetings! It's been to long since we last conversed, how is the Lord Blessing you?

Not sure if there is a correlation but I know that the GC (in the great reformers section, chapter eight or so...) it says that "if they could they would get rid of the Bible altogether" they being the Catholics. But I would find it surprising to find out that they were/are implying that openly.

Madison, your profile picture and comment match up perfectly :D haha
